Seeking The Rebellious
Luke 22:4-6, 47-48 | Proverbs 17:11
“Judas.” Often used as a term for someone who has betrayed a close friend. We use that name because of the actions of a man long ago.
Jesus knew Judas. He knew the man Judas was. He knew the betrayal Judas would commit … yet Jesus sought him and called him to be a disciple.
It’s incredibly encouraging to look at the story of Judas and see Christ seeking the rebellious even when they reject Him. What love! A love that pursued Judas to the very end.
The saddest part of the story is that even though Judas was being sought after, he chose death instead of the love of Christ.
Whoever you are, whatever you’ve done, Christ is seeking. Accept Him.
