Jesus had two questions for His disciples. First, He asked them who the people thought He was, and they responded, a prophet.
Goodbyes are always hard. The disciples’ goodbyes to Jesus were exceptionally difficult because Jesus said that He was going but would be with them.
Jesus had been informed that Lazarus might die, but He did nothing. It was days before He decided to see Lazarus and by this time, he was buried.
Through what became the most well known execution in history, Jesus was raised up on a cross for all to see.
Jesus was leaving them and the Disciples are hurting and confused. But in the midst of their confusion, Jesus declares that He is the way, truth, and life.
“I’m praying for you. You’re in our prayers. We’ll be praying for you.” Each of those sentences, with four powerful words, can bring hope and strength in a difficult time.
Jesus said, “I lay down my life for the sheep”. Though shepherds cared for their sheep, it would have been unusual for a shepherd to die on their behalf.
Jesus had a divine mission to meet a Samaritan woman that needed a divine revelation. After getting her attention, Jesus began to reveal to her who He was.
She had sinned and would now face the consequences. But why wasn't her partner here too?
Forced to live in darkness, this blind man couldn’t provide for a family or pursue his dreams.
I won’t soon forget the day when I upgraded to an unlimited data plan. The thought ran through my mind, “I’ve got so much power” knowing I wouldn’t have to worry about running out of data.
Since the name “I AM” signifies that God exists, is it any wonder that God is constantly working on behalf of His people?
I AM. This is how Jesus defines Himself - the One who always is, the One who is with God, the One who is God, the all powerful Creator, and jealous holy God of Israel, answering only to Himself.
